Obituary for Randal F. Feeley

HIGHGATE CENTER – Randal F. Feeley, age 68, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 5, 2018 at the Northwestern Medical Center in St. Albans.

He was born in St. Albans on January 4, 1950 to the late Gerald & Gala (Foster) Feeley.

Randy was a life-long resident of the area and a graduate of Highgate High School, where he excelled in athletics. He was a truck driver for most of his working career; his favorite job was hauling cars for Anchor Motor Freight. He married the love of his life, Candy (Spaulding) on July 12, 1978. They loved spending time with each other and their children & grandchildren.

He was a lover of the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. Randy was an excellent sporting clay shooter and he enjoyed traveling around to area meets and competitions. Above all, Randy loved, and was very proud of, his family. His loving “motivational speeches” and jokes will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was also a member of the F&A Mason Lodge #76 in Swanton.

Randy is survived by his wife of 40 years, Candy Feeley of Highgate Ctr., their sons, Randall C Feeley and his wife Nichole of Belvidere Ctr., Josh F. Feeley of St. Albans, and Ty Fournier and his wife Jennifer of Fairfield; his grandchildren; Mason, Owen, Quincy & Silas Fournier, Cassidy Blaney-Feeley, and Jaxson Feeley; his siblings, Dennis Feeley and his companion Kathy of Swanton, Jerri Brouillette and her husband Dave of Sheldon, and Julie Ladue and her husband Phil of Highgate Center; his daughters, Alison Bergquist and Amy Williams; several nieces, nephews & cousins and his beloved dogs, Doc, Tigger & Mona Mae. Besides his parents, Randy was predeceased by his brother, Jay Feeley and his nephew, Jason Brouillette.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2018 from 2-5:00 PM at Kidder Memorial Home, 89 Grand Ave., Swanton. In keeping with Randy’s wishes there will be no funeral service.
